I've added a "minimal" display mode for the topics.
It's intended for users with lower resolutions or for those who prefer this type of modes.  As always: comments/bugs/ideas are welcome.

I personally don't really like it, It looks a bit confusing for me.
And is it normal when you click it and get redirected to the main forum page?

Ya, normal mode for me too. But some might find it useful. IMO, the blank icon for the minimal mode might get a little confusing. How about some dashes instead?, like (without the bullets):
