This site has a pretty nice setup for translating into new languages. What do you think of it?
Placing strings from a .po file into a web interface? Looks good, saves time because translators don't need to waste time looking for proper software.
There's Pootle too, it's open-source and works pretty much the same way. I remember I translated TweetDeck using a Pootle instance running from their own website...
Well while we wait for an official implementation, if anybody feels like doing some preparation I had a few minutes to go through the home page and pull all the strings from it. So if anybody feels like making an attempt at a translation, good luck to you
![]() Good old txt file attached ![]() edit: i did i promise...it just didn't show up for some reason...dammit okay fine dropbox incoming...

Haha, I was wondering when you would come with your version... Sorry mate, hope you aren't mad at me ![]() The strange thing is, that even if there would be a Dutch version of this website, I would never use it. I hate Dutch on PC :P I have every bit of software on my Pc in English...
Anyways worked out my version. also came out with some word/sentence that are hard to translate logically. "Dual" = dubbel or tweevoudig (which one do we use?) "Gore" (No idea...) "Keywords" = sleutelwoorden (but it sounds weird :/) "Either work hard or you might as well quit!" = Het is hard werken anders kan je net zo goed stoppen! (Now I did my best here, but I think it is wise to keep it in English). https://dl.dropbox.com/u/65293059/WB Dutch Translation v3.txt
I made some spelling corrections and added the last few things. The ones that still have a ''-'' should be left in English in my opinion. Anyway, like Dual = Dubbel or Tweevoudig (Tweevoudig sounds better to me) Wallpaper = Wallpaper or Achtergrond (definitely Wallpaper for me) Keywords = Sleutelwoorden (Do you know any better translation?) Gore = No word for in Dutch I am afraid -.- The Text File Gore = No word for in Dutch I am afraid -.- No word for "gore" in portuguese either, so I adapted it into something like "intense visual violence".

And here it is, the Brazilian Portuguese localization.
< dying to know how it would look like when applied />

I guess if there isn't a word or there isn't a good translation you should keep it in English.

What do you guys think of: ''Wallpapers met aanstootgevende inhoud'' for that Gore thing?
Written 10 months 2 weeks ago
I think "crude graphic violence" is a good way to go.
