Here you can talk about movies/films you have seen or you want to see.
Let's start with Sucker Punch. Mustard has seen a trailer, and it looks like the inside of his head! Anyone else seen it? I absolutely loved it!

Ooohhh...SP...the only thing I didn't like about it was the ending...everything else was amaaazing! I saw it twice too, and once in IMAX. OMGOMGOMG

P.S.: I saw this post after I replied in the GoT thread about SP. Hence, sorry for the double-posting. :)

Awesome teaser trailer! If this is indeed the last of a trilogy, I hope they show Nolan's rendition of the Bat-cave underneath the new Wayne mansion. Also, was it just me or did Bane look like one of those Mortal Kombat characters? Can't figure him as the main villain, though.

Yeah, the ending was a bit weird and a bit lame.

I really love The Dark Knight, hopefully the new one will be even better!

I loved Sucker Punch too. Awesome movie. I regret I haven't been to the cinema to watch it :/. I also didn't like the end.

Also, is Kick Ass good ? I have it but haven't watched it yet.

Kick Ass —» Kick-Ass
: Not my fav movie of all time, and the soundtrack choices, Nic Cage, and the lack of a formidable villain did not help. Watchable though; it has its moments.

was definitely original. Robert De Niro was a bit wasted in it though, IMO. Overall a good movie.

Didn't see Scott Pilgrim, but the trailer looked like utter shit to me.
I won a Blu-Ray copy of The Green Hornet a couple of days ago and I received it this afternoon. I'll watch it tonight and will let you guys know what I think of it.

This thread makes me miss multi-quote :O

Scott-Pilgrim is OK. It tries to be cool, but ends up being cold.

Green Hornet is good and funny. I like it when the film-makers pay attention to character development, especially in movies of this genre.

Guys, what about Paul? I absolutely loved it. A lot of people have objected to the religious jabs in there, but I actually loved it because of it, because it was intelligently done.

Oh, Simon Pegg is golden! Loved Paul as well. And I always like when religion is 'attacked!' Also a really good job by Paul the alien.

The Green Hornet was kind of funny. Although the visual effects were a bit bad at times. I totally didn't know what to expect so maybe that's why I liked it.

I watched 13 Assassins yesterday. It's a (classic?) Japanese samurai movie. The beginning was kinda boring, but after that it was all guys chopping other guys lims and heads off.

To bad the subtitles were a bit crap, so I missed some of the dialog. :<

Watched that to! The beginning wasn't that great, but the village part was great! The subtitles were bad for me as well. We might have 'bought' *Cough* the same version!

Also that creepy limbless women at the beginning O.O

Just saw 'À Bout Portant' (Point Black in English). Really liked it! I think I have a weakness for French movies. The language is beautiful even though I can't speak French (I know a few words though).
Also If you haven't seen 'L'Immortel' (22 bullets), I really recommend it! It's about a former gangster whom retired. But gangsters don't quit unless they are dead, so he got shot, by you guess it, 22 bullets. (Not a spoiler, this is how the movie opens and part of the plot). So he wants to figure out who shot him and why. Starring: Jean Reno. I love that guy. Don't know why, I just do.

oh! "A bout portant" I'm not a fan of french movie ^^"but I heard this one is good. It's pretty rare when a french movie get exported
Best french movie imo is "Leon" Jean Reno Natalie Portman ^^

I like french movies too. They tend to be good, and I love the language (though I don't understand it, and need subtitles).

22 bullets is awesome, and rivals a Hollywood actioner. Some others I have seen and liked are:
Sur Mes Lèvres (Read My Lips) - The actress who plays the deaf-dumb character is great!
The Beat That My Heart Skipped - Great story, nice twist at the ending, and good acting.
Intimacy - I watched it for the bareback scene, honestly, but I liked the story too.
Let The Right One In - The name is enough, I suppose.
13 Tzameti- The original one, not the remake. Amazing acting, and raw emotions all through. You feel for the main character, and his sacrifice. The remake was total crap in comparison.
L'arnacoeur (Heartbreaker) - A good movie as far as romantic movies go, and a little silly, as romantic movies tend to be.

I suppose I need to check out Point Black.
