Hey there, I am wallbase user for a while now (I think so, no? =) )
And I have suggested many ideas before, so I decided to do a compilation of those that are not implemented. • Number 1: It was discussed here [http://wallbase.cc/forum/topic/531] The main point of this idea: F.e. user has a big collection of, lets say, girl. And he\she sees that it is so big that it isnt easy to look through it. So, the user will create new collection (or subcollection =) ) for transfering a part of parent collection to this new one. And it will be named as one of the women which are in the "Girls" collection (f.e. ). But, there are plenty of her walls in main collection and transfering 1 by 1 is not easy. Yes, multi-selection is planned for implementing but it would be nice if user had an option like "Transfer all wallpapers with tag "specific tag" from "collection1" to "collectio2"" I hope you understood my thoughts. • Number 2: It was discussed here [http://wallbase.cc/forum/topic/566] It is small addition to previous one. Would be nice to have small statistic about your collections, so it could help you if tag transfering will be implemented. • Number 3: It was discussed here [http://wallbase.cc/forum/topic/499] Just do not show wallpapers uploaded by you and if the tag was added by you in the subscription page. It was supported by some users (  Thirteen,  carpetrug).(The first part about wallpapers uploaded by you I added just now ) • Number 4: It was discussed here [http://wallbase.cc/forum/topic/816] So if you are subscribed to the user who uploaded a wallpaper with tag f.e. and you are subscribed to this tag, in the result you will see this wallpaper twice in subscription page. The idea is that if you saw it once, you wont see it second time.  Yotoon answered me in this one, but it seems it doesnt work properly, may be it could be fixed... • Number 5: It was discussed here [http://wallbase.cc/forum/topic/918] Simple addition, we already have suggestion notification if there is a bigger version of wallpaper you added to favourites, but it would be nice if this blue exclamation mark will appear near the name of collection so you dont need to view every one you have. (Tried to do an image for example below)  • Number 6: It was discussed here [http://wallbase.cc/forum/topic/1651] This feature is in Yotoon's "To do" list, but Id like to know what options will be available in future?• Number 7: It wasnt discussed befor (I guess) What about to add a personal history? Something like: [Date] (User) [Action] 25.05.2012  UAman subscribed your collection [Collection name]or unsubscribed, or your wallpaper was deleted. Reason: [Gay porn is restricted]. So you can track events that are related to you. • Number 8: It was suggested by user  Callvin in our Skype conversation.Tree-like tag structure. What he ment: (Now I will try to properly translate his thoughts) For example you add tag and all tag related will be added to the wallpaper as well I think this would be very useful and save time for taggers. I guess thats it for now, so what do you think about everything above?

What I understood from this sounded good, but some of it seems kind of complicated... but I don't doubt Yotoon's ability.
There's also a suggestion for a new tagging system I put out which kind of involved into something different - that had some supporters and the mods/Yotoon were thinking about it. It's confusing because although the site pretty much works, there are a few problems (often because of irresponsible users!) so it's hard to say what's the priority. Yotoon must be stressed like hell.
• Number 3:
This is a good idea, I often find my self clearing my subs of my own wallpapers or wallpapers I just tagged. • Number 4: This used to work a lot better then it does now. It use do exactly what it was supposed to, but now it seem like it doesn't work at all. • Number 5: Another great idea. I go through my collection once a week to see if there are any bigger/better version available. But this takes some time, as my number of collection keep growing. • Number 7: I'd very like to see this. At this time we only see our subscriber amount increase and we don't see who subbed what. Reasons for why your wallpaper was deleted would be great. I sometime see I lost a wallpaper, but I don't have a single idea which one was deleted or why. • Number 8: I think this would be the best idea of them all. it would realy save time for taggers and would also increase the accuracy of the tags as some people don't know what series the character belongs to or visa versa (using anime wallpapers as an example here)

Number 8 is definitely a good idea, would save a lot of time on tagging and also open up wallpapers already tagged to parent searches, so +1 to that. Only concern is that mods/admins would have to make the structure entirely from scratch but at the very least the obvious things would be able to be up and running pretty fast.
^ As an additional suggestion, perhaps the related tags functionality could be implemented such as to automatically generate these relations? Number 6: DO WANT. I've had that happen to me so many times.......... For number 1, perhaps being able to actively filter wallpapers in your favourites would be helpful in this instance? Combined with multi-select (maybe a select all button?) it should allow you to quickly transfer wallpapers across collections.

Auto tag should not be available during mass tagging during upload. And it should have the option of being disabled.
For example, what if a character is in 2 different shows/movies/comics? Which tag gets auto-added then? Lets say you tag a wall . Does  The Dark Knight —» Batman The Dark Knight  The Dark Knight —» Batman The Dark Knight The Dark Knight —» Batman The Dark Knight How do you organise the tree? Again, movies and characters. Characters can belong to different movies, but movies have many characters. Which is higher? I, for one, would rather take the trouble to add all relevant tags manually, than add one tag and hunt through the auto-added ones to weed out irrelevant tags. But then again, I don't tag a fraction as much as some of the folks here.  scissorhands, yes, I understand that. I thought about it. Later I'll create a separate topic about this idea, where I try to describe such details. I also make drawings to show how I see it. Of course it is impossible to apply this system to all tags. But to solve the situation like what you described - possibly in box. Thirteen, I think that the automatic generation of relationships - bad idea. Also I think needed to control the creation of tags, because people make a lot of bad tags ( Cornelius Funk wrote about it)About topic: I think all these ideas significantly improve the site = P.S. What I meant by automatic generation is that it would suggest to admins possible links which could then be confirmed, as this would save them having to look up tags by themselves and would speed up adding obvious relations. Also, even though a lot of bad tags are created they are usually applied to just a few tags, and hence would not be influential enough to be suggested.
Oh yea, +1 for deletion reasons as well. That would be so useful for figuring out why users chose to delete images or whether they were just trolling us... :/

+1 for number 8. But instead of the tags being added automatically, those should just appear below the existing tags so you can choose which of those have to be added. I think there'd be some issues or it'd be restricted if they'd appear automatically.
I think it would be better to make a semi-automatic mode. If you want to - hit the button and put the "parent" tags. Or you press another button - and see a list of "child" tags and choose what you need (it will be useful if you forgot the name of a character for example). But the rest of the system remains the same: you can manually write the tags, you can remove tags that were automatically assigned
I would like to suggest my idea with all of you admin fellas.
In the Admin Panel-> Marked 4 Deletion walls, get the ability to search trough the walls by user and who marked it for deletion. Cause for instance people who come to forums and state that their walls have been deleted, well this way we(admins and senior mods) could find the walls really fast.

Some of them are good, some of them are pretty hard to implement... but... I will definately save this topic for future reference. ;)
#1 I guess this would be quite useful in some situations, but I was thinking of adding a search option just for your favorites. You will be able to search for "Olivia Wilde", select all of them and move them to a separate collection. #2 More stats, huh? Well, there will be a nice stats/intro page when you click on the "Favorites" link. I don't know what will be there though... #3 #4 I've added very similar function for uploads and tags i believe and it worked when I last checked. I will look into it. #5 I'm planning on adding a separate subpage just for those replacements so you can get this done in a batch. ;) #6 Will be done. #7 This would involve a LOT of logging. I guess such data could be used in various statistics/timeline-like feature in your profile page. I will take the pros and cons into consideration and make a decision if it's worth it. #8 Hmm... I think it's a little overkill.

Hmm... I think it's a little overkill. So you think that is a too thick, or too difficult? I think that this system + idea of Cornelius Funk + if add on tags info page a short description of the tag with a picture-example - then the tag system will come on a completely different level. This will increase the quality and simplicity of tagging..So should I try to describe my idea, or it will be unnecessary?

Did anyone suggest a "download all" button? I'm mainly thinking about personal favorites. Lets say you've created a folder within your favourites, and you want to download all the walls in that particular folder so you just press "download all" and all the walls in that folder is downloaded to your desktop/your choosing.
