so i need a new gaming mouse, and the requirements are:
1. price not more than $40-45 2. NO prediction/acceleration/drift control any of that crap 3. dont care about extra buttons/macros etc. 4. dont need a gazillion dpi i have narrowed it down to razer abyssus, or the logitech g400. also considering the roccat kova+? any thoughts on these? any other suggestions? the abyssus i have read had a lot of jitter issues with cloth mats, and an extremely high lod. does anybody have any xp with this? i use a razer goliathus speed mat.

kinzu has a lot of prediction. the ime 3 is ergonomic and looks like it would be uncomfortable for fingertip gripping.

I've always had my deathadder i play MMOs and FPS games and i usually am always in the top list on kills(except on LoL and HoN only sometimes XD).
i've had 2x of them and im satisfied, one just suddenly broke and i had warranty and so on but i lit it on fire and put explosives in it so it didnt have any after that. also my new one had some problems like a year ago but i just upgraded firmware and it has worked fine. Razer products: High quality, money worth, good stuff :) i also like steelseries but i've only used there cheap mousepads :) Conclusion: If i were you i would buy a Razer Deathadder :) I've always had my deathadder i play MMOs and FPS games and i usually am always in the top list on kills(except on LoL and HoN only sometimes XD). palm gripfingertip grip what may be perfectly awesome for you won't be awesome for me. could you read before you post? sorry should have mentioned. i use fingertip grip. dont want an ergonomic mouse. want ambidextrous. one just suddenly broke and i had warranty and so on but i lit it on fire and put explosives in it so it didnt have any after that. ![]() clearly you have a lot more money to throw around than I do. also my new one had some problems like a year ago but i just upgraded firmware and it has worked fine. yeah that would be the jitter issue i was talking about with the abyssus. the da 3.5g and the abyssus have the same sensor, and it had jitter problems. but while the firmware on the da can be upgraded, the abyssus cannot. their are mixed views on whether or not the problem is fixed on abyssus or not on most forums, that is why i was asking for 1st hand info if anybody had used it.

I'm thinking of getting a razer death adder. the best mouse I ever had ! my advice is that you have to test another options, to see what's your style .

I'm thinking of getting a razer death adder. i'd advise you to try it once if you can. i didn't dig the feel at all because it's not suited for my style of play. what do you usually play?

wait my bad. tt black has no prediction, but this: http://www.esreality.com/index.php?a=post&id=2024663. Gladly no, working fine for now, Ive read about that, it can be fixed by loading default settings in the driver software.
I don't recommend razer as their products are to pumped up.
I'd say go to a showroom of electronics and IT, test a few mice from different brands and see which suits you better. I got 2x A4tech, "Oscar Laser XL-750BK" and "Oscar X-710MK" The 750BK, has some scrolling problems, but the 710MK, it's awesome. Different between them 1st one 600-3.200 DPI, 2nd one 600-2.000 DPI. That's pretty much it.

what do you play though? i play CS1.6 at low sensi, so i lift the mouse often. In such a case Z axis issues would be a major deal breaker.
Actually I've more or less decided on the Abyssus. Just waiting for a response from where i'm buying to see whether they would replace it in case i get one with the jitter problem. I don't recommend razer as their products are to pumped up. There are no showrooms here that stock gaming gear. I can't test them. And my choices are limited to these I have a pretty good idea of what i'm looking for though. and there really aren't many choices in the $40 range.
^Wow, that's way to few, I was expecting something like this: http://www.emag.ro/mouse
That's sad, cause my 710MK costs around $20, you could have bought two, and it's pretty amazing in CS.
that was the gaming mice.
this is all the mice. but it isnt a lot more quality wise.

That seems like a good idea. unless people still want to ask something?
(Will leave it open for now. If no one has anymore questions I'll close it)

I noticed Razer was brought up so can I be a cheeky monkey and throw in a question about the Razer BlackWidow before the lock? Anybody tried/used/using one + opinions?

maybe you should make another thread for keyboards. but anyway, i don't really know what kind of issues a keyboard can have, except for a general low build quality. just check a few reviews online and you should be good to go.
