Add your personal list here. Doesn't nes- nessec- necessarily (There we go. ) have to be life-changing, just one of those films you really have to see once.
1. Pulp Fiction 2. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas 3. Train Spotting 4. Alien (1-4) 5. The Dreamers 6. Star Wars (4-6) 7. The Shining 8. 28 Days Later 9. This is England 10. Human Traffic The last two probably wouldn't be much good outside of this dirty little island, but they were good social commentary.

I Would only add "I Robot", and "Inception"...
my list would have to be (and in no order, just what comes to me first)
1. The Dark Knight 2. Star Wars (4-6) 3. Lord of The rings (1-3) 4. the shawshank redemption (great acting, but IMO not the best film ever) 5. THE LION KING (AWESOME) 6. Avengers (most fun I have had in the Cinema 7. The Italian Job (1969) (a true classic) 8. Inception 9. Indiana Jones (1-3, defiantly not 4) 10. The Matrix/Gladiator that was much harder than I thought, I realized that most films I have seen are really modern meaning that however hard I try I am a terrible source for great films. I believe the Italian Job is the oldest on there. I believe the oldest film I have watched is The Wizard of Oz (1939), that too is a great film, although not really my type

1. Lord of the Rings (1-3) Yer I forgot about a few good comedies and Simon Pegg definatly is up there with the best, however I think I would put Hott Fuzz above Shawn of the Dead. Life of Brian is a great choice though

The Matrix Pulp Fiction Fight Club The Shawshank Redemption Saving Private Ryan Forrest Gump Napoleon Dynamite Waking Life Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark Inception I know I gave the first of the trilogies there, but you have to start somewhere. Waking Life is a little heavy on the ideas but even if you aren't a "dreamer" then it's pretty interesting (or just crazy).
