I noticed that you can view others "related" wallpapers as a slideshow but I can't look at my own favorites that way.
Am i missing something?

I am neutral on this....although I did not know you could view related wallpapers as a Slideshow! I probably won't use the feature anyway. I am pretty much okay working with the thumbnails.

Ha! Well, thanks for your input lezboyd but that's not exactly the response I was hoping for.
I just figured that it's a nice feature to have, (use it or not) why only have it for the related images? Why not just have that viewing option to any collection you've made?
Related, Favorites, Uploaded or whatever?

I've added the slideshow feature to the related wallpapers to test it out.
Is the script working OK?

I checked it out too and it works fine, but isn't it a resource-hog (server side)? What I mean to say is - one, it is flash so it does not allow you to save the wallpaper, but (two) it has to load the original wallpaper all the same, whether it is low-res (~100KB) or high-res (~5MB).

Also, I would most likely use it to view someone else's collections and uploads, in which case I would want to add the ones I like to favorites or save them to my computer, neither of which is possible here. IMHO, of course. :)

I just think if you had the option to view slideshow on your own collections, you might use it more than you think.
And call me crazy, but you'd think slideshow would be useful on a website totally dedicated to large images.
If you see one you like just go back and find it in the thumbnails, no prob.

And Yes Yotoon, obviously I like the slideshow feature and I think looks very well done. It seems to work very smoothly. Nice work!

Soooooo, Yotoon

I've taken it upon myself to privately message everybody on Wallbase about this "slideshow for your own categorized wallpapers" idea... AND IT WAS UNANIMOUS! Can you believe that?
I know I couldn't believe it either. But hey, everyone on here knows a good idea when they hear one. So if you could help us out with this we would all really and truly appreciate it.

Great site by the way, I'm highly addicted.

Ok, here's another idea Yotoon.HA ha!

How about adding a "Previous" button and a "Next" button when looking at a single wallpaper in whatever collection we are in?

That way it could just go to you to the next, or previous, image in the particular collection without having to click image.. open in new tab.. close image.. click next image..

I think that this would extremely helpful when looking at collections on the mobile too.

Thoughts?
